Items were excessively packed – for example, a few teaspoons wrapped in a 25 × 15 × 10 cm paper ball, and like this with every little item in order to add boxes – clearly inflating the total volume, and even just partly filling the boxes with paper for no reason, with nothing fragile inside. This appears to be a systematic practice of overcharging, and it severely affects customer trust. In addition an expensive chair arrived broken.

Nous avons fait appel à Asia Relocation pour notre déménagement d’une maison à une autre puis lors de notre déménagement vers l’Europe.
Lors de ces deux déménagements, les équipes d’Asia Relocation ont été très professionnelles. Nos affaires ont été emballées à la perfection. Rien n’a été abîmé ni cassé. Les équipes sont organisés et rangent consciencieusement chacun des effets personnels que ca soir la vaisselle, les jouets, les livres, l’informatique…. Nos tableaux et autres décorations ont été protégés comme il le fallait.
Les meubles qui ont eu besoin d’être démontés ont été rangé de sorte à faciliter le remontage à l’arrivée.
A l’ouverture aucune mauvaise surprise, tout est en parfait état. L’étiquetage réalisé par les équipes permet de se retrouver rapidement lors du déballage.
Notre dernier déménagement a été réalisé dans les conditions du Covid et toutes les mesures ont été mises en place par les équipes.
Concernant les documents à fournir, aucune surprise non plus. La liste des documents à transmettre aux déménageurs est transmise dans les délais afin de ne pas perdre de temps à l’arrivée pour la livraison.
Asia relocation nous avait donné un delai de livraison à l’arrivée et ce délai a été respecté malgré un contexte mondiale qui ne facilitait pas les choses.

First, we’re pleased to know that the delivery team in the Philippines met your standards. However, regarding the packing in Thailand, we conducted a thorough review with our partner. Their team confirmed that you were present and in direct communication with the packing supervisor throughout the process, with particular attention paid to minimizing volume. Several items were even left unboxed or wrapped minimally at your request. Despite this, some fragile or sharp objects, such as cutlery and tools, were packed with additional cushioning for safety, as required by standard practice.
In terms of volume, while your own estimate was 2.7 CBM, it’s important to note that self-assessed measurements rarely account for packing materials, box gaps, or the dimensional efficiency required for safe export crating. Professionally packed shipments typically increase by 15-20%, and the final crate (liftvan) adds another layer. This is how the final chargeable volume reached approximately 4 CBM. Additionally, all international shipping providers round up to the next full cubic meter, so 3.1 CBM would still be billed as 4 CBM.
As for the damaged chair, we regret the incident but must clarify that you declined the optional insurance coverage we offered prior to the move. Moreover, the damage was not noted on the signed delivery receipt (Proof of Delivery), which limits our ability to process claims after the fact.
We understand that international relocation involves many moving parts and can be complex. Our team made every effort to communicate transparently, accommodate your preferences, and ensure your shipment was handled professionally.
